Dr Shannon Zawada is an experienced and caring Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility (CREI) and Gynaecology specialist.
Shannon completed her medical degree and Masters in Human Reproduction and Human Genetics at the University of Sydney. She has RANZCOG certified subspecialist qualifications in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). This is the highest recognised qualification for a Fertility Specialist in Australia.
Shannon is a consultant Fertility specialist and Gynaecologist at Life Fertility Sydney, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women, and Canterbury Hospitals. She is a visiting medical officer at Prince of Wales Private and St Luke’s hospital. She is a lecturer at the University of Sydney in Perinatal and Women’s Health.
She has extensive experience and interest in managing ovulation disorders, PCOS, recurrent miscarriage, endometriosis, fibroids, complex infertility, fertility preservation , medical and social egg freeze, andrology, preimplantation genetic testing, donor conception, surrogacy, menopause, contraception, Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.
