Dr Dhruv Nayyar
Dr Dhruv Nayyar is a consultant Cardiologist with a subspecialty interest in preventative cardiology, pre-operative cardiac risk assessment, and the use of advanced cardiac imaging in the management of coronary artery disease, heart failure and arrhythmias.
Dr Nayyar graduated with distinction from the University of New South Wales. He completed cardiology training at Liverpool Hospital and a fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Royal North Shore Hospital. He has particular expertise in echocardiography, cardiac CT (Level B specialist) and cardiac MRI.
He is a Visiting Medical Officer at Macquarie University Hospital and Auburn Hospital. He is also an Honorary Conjoint Associate Lecturer at Macquarie University. He has presented at international conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals and holds a Master of Public Health.
Dr Nayyar works an independent practitioner consulting at Rozelle Total Health.
