Dr Melissa Tang
Dr Melissa Tang will be going on maternity leave as of 25 October 2025 and will return in 2027.
Dr Melissa Tang grew up in Sydney and completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Bachelor of Medical Studies at UNSW, graduating with Distinctions. Dr Tang enjoys general practice for its variety and unique ability to provide ongoing holistic and preventative care for people of all ages. She is especially passionate about caring for women and babies and is an accredited NDC/Possums practitioner offering comprehensive evidence-based care in the areas of breastfeeding, infant unsettled behaviour and sleep.
Dr Tang provides Antenatal Shared Care for Royal Prince Alfred, Canterbury and Royal North Shore Hospitals. Her special interests include Paediatrics having completed the Diploma in Child Health, Dermatology and Women’s Health including Implanon insertions. She has completed the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health.
Dr Melissa Tang works as an independent practitioner consulting at Rozelle Total Health.
