Gillian is a member of the Australian Psychological Society as well as a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists.
Gillian Marcoolyn has worked as a clinical psychologist for over 30 years. She has worked in Hong Kong and in various parts of Australia. She has worked both in Community Mental Health, Corrective Services, an Organisational Psychology firm as well as in private practice. She has also worked as a lecturer and tutor both in Australia and Hong Kong. She currently works in her own private practice in the city as well as at Rozelle Total Health. Gillian works best with teens and adults. Her approach to therapy, although having its roots in CBT, uses an ACT approach which recognises the importance of understanding one’s values and a commitment to living by those values.
