Dr Kathryn Medynski
Dr Kathryn Medynski is an experienced general practitioner with a broad range of interests and specialities. Dr Kathryn (otherwise known as Katya) graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales with degrees in medicine & surgery. After extensive rotations at Wollongong Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital (Randwick) she completed a Diploma of Paediatrics through the University of New South Wales.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has completed a Certificate in Sexual Health & Family Planning. Katya enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in Women’s & Children’s Health. Katya is a member of the Australian Menopause Association and has a keen interest in optimising wellbeing during the midlife transition. She is passionate about preventative care. She also has an interest in travel medicine and metabolic health along with significant experience in mental health, chronic disease management and youth health.
With over twenty years of experience Katya brings warmth and compassion to her consultations, along with dedication and highly developed clinical skills.
Dr Medynski works as an independent practitioner consulting at Rozelle Total Health.
